Pre-Operative Assessment Nurse (Bank) – Bristol Hospital, OPD – Bank shifts
Role type: Bank (ad-hoc hours, not a fixed weekly contract). Up to £20 per hour depending on experience.
Responsibilities
- Be part of a close-knit team delivering matron-led care in a consultant-led service
- As the first point of contact you will work with leading talent and professionals to make the right assessments for patients prior to their surgery
- Demonstrate a broad knowledge base and assessment skills to ensure patient care
- Fully understand and support the needs of each patient and their family
- Offer comfort and reassurance, providing the highest standards of care
- Build your experience across new practices, equipment and facilities
- Work with practitioners in other areas, understanding that continuity in patient care is key
Qualifications
- You are registered with the appropriate governing body (including NMC)
- You bring the qualifications and experience relevant to your registration
- Post-registration experience and a team-focused approach to delivering exceptional patient care
