Health and Safety Regional Trainer – Scotland

Regional (Scotland) | Central Operations | Permanent | Part Time

As our Health and Safety Regional Trainer for Scotland, you will have a Level 3 Award in Education and Training or equivalent, preferably a RLSS TA Qualification. You will also have experience of lifeguard and first aid training delivery in a multisite capacity as well as strong influencing and communication skills. Ideally you will also have the ability to build relationships, engage with people and deliver with impact.

This role requires a high volume of travel and overnight stays in order to provide the regional training programme for 8 locations.

As our Health and Safety Regional Trainer, you will:

  • Have a positive attitude and the ability to build relationships
  • Deliver training to meet the needs of individual learners
  • Produce resources and training materials that meet the needs of individual learners and compliance with the awarding body.
  • Support learners throughout their learning journey, through qualification, CPD and renewal to develop learners through competence towards excellence.
  • Follow Nuffield Health and External Awarding Body guidance for the delivery and assessment of regulated qualifications and non-regulated courses.
  • Ensure all sites achieve green compliance to Nuffield Health expected levels for health and safety training

As a regional trainer you will lead the national training team in an area of specialism. The areas of specialism will depend on the successful candidates’ skills and experience. We look forward to hearing how you could lead the national team.

To be successful in this role, you will have experience in:

  • Delivery of lifeguard, first aid and health and safety training
  • Working across multiple sites in a reginal role
  • Managing and leading projects
