As a CT Lead Radiographer at The Holly Hospital, you’ll bring high levels of technical knowledge and the ability to work quickly and accurately. You have a great eye for detail and you’re caring by nature and you will also be working to build a service that is progressive and responsive to service needs, whilst being safe and cost effective. We currently conduct a variety of CT examinations including neurological, cardiac and biopsy procedures as well as some specialist orthopaedic imaging. You will be an expert in CT imaging and provide clinical leadership to support the team in developing new pathways, processes and procedures as required. You will also be the Radiation Protection Supervisor within the department.

As a CT Lead Radiographer, you will:

  • Supervise the professional standards and operational management of the rotating staff and their training in the CT department, ensuring a consistent level of service is maintained at all times.
  • Organise the daily work programme to ensure that the department runs efficiently.
  • Understand and implement all policies and procedures relating specifically to CT scanning.
  • Perform high quality examinations as required by referring physicians according to departmental policies and procedures and ensure that all patients being imaged receive a high standard of care.
