As a Senior Development Analyst within our Analytical Services team, you will play a key role in supporting current and future business needs through the development, validation, and continuous improvement of analytical methods. You will provide specialist technical expertise across a wide range of projects, ensuring robust analytical support for commercial, regulatory, manufacturing, quality, and R&D activities.
Working closely with colleagues across the business, you will contribute to product innovation, quality assurance, customer confidence, and operational excellence while helping to shape the future of our analytical capabilities.
How You’ll Help Us Grow
- Lead analytical method development and validation activities, ensuring methods are accurate, robust, compliant, and fit for purpose.
- Deliver high-quality analytical support to the European business, providing reliable data within agreed timelines.
- Manage and deliver the Cross-Contamination Prevention Programme to support product release schedules and minimize supply chain risk.
- Provide technical leadership and specialist support across Quality Control functions, including troubleshooting, training, and knowledge sharing.
- Support investigations relating to counterfeit products, parallel imports, and customer complaints to protect Nufarm’s brands and reputation.
- Develop analytical capabilities for formulations containing biological active ingredients, supporting product development and commercialization.
- Contribute to Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) activities and broader laboratory operations as required.
- Partner with R&D teams by providing analytical methods, technical expertise, and training to accelerate development programs.
- Support internal, customer, regulatory, and safety audits, maintaining compliance and operational standards.
- Provide technical advice and guidance to tolling partners, including occasional travel within Europe and internationally when business needs require.

We are looking for a highly motivated analytical professional who combines strong technical expertise with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
You will likely bring:
- A degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline.
- Significant experience within an R&D analytical laboratory environment.
- Proven expertise in analytical method development and validation.
- Strong knowledge of chromatography-based analytical techniques (HPLC, GC).
- Excellent time management and self-organization skills.
- The ability to work independently while building effective relationships across teams.
- Confidence in providing technical guidance, mentoring colleagues, and driving continuous improvement.
- A flexible approach with a willingness to support business-critical activities and occasional travel.
