As a Production Engineer at Nufarm's Wyke manufacturing site, you'll work across Production, Maintenance, Engineering and Supply Chain to support the safe, reliable and efficient operation of the plant. This is a hands-on role with exposure to production support, maintenance coordination, continuous improvement, shutdown planning and performance analysis, making it an excellent opportunity to build a broad career in chemical manufacturing.

How You’ll Help Us Grow

  • Monitor and improve plant performance through OEE reporting, downtime analysis and root cause investigations.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to increase safety, reliability, efficiency and capacity.
  • Coordinate engineering and maintenance activities, including shutdown planning and work scheduling.
  • Support production planning and work closely with Supply Chain to ensure operational continuity.
  • Provide hands-on technical support and troubleshooting to production teams on the shop floor.
  • Review and improve operating procedures, maintenance practices and process performance.
  • Participate in MOC, quality investigations, audits and compliance activities.
  • Promote a strong safety culture by demonstrating visible SHE leadership and supporting safe systems of work.

We’re looking for a proactive, technically curious individual with:

  • A degree (or equivalent experience) in Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Strong interest in manufacturing operations and plant performance.
  • The confidence to work cross-functionally with Operations, Maintenance and Engineering.
  • Solid analytical skills and a structured problem-solving mindset.
  • The ambition to grow into a future Operations or Manufacturing leadership role.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment, ideally chemical manufacturing.
