Store Manager - Manchester Northern Quarter

We are looking for a Store Manager to join our brand new Repair Shop located in the Northern Quarter, Manchester. The store is expecting to open in April and the Store Manager will be part of this exciting journey from the start! It’s a full-time permanent position with a start date in March-April.

As a Store Manager, you are a part of the Retail team and have a central, important role at Nudie Jeans. You have full responsibility for our retail team in Manchester.

The position has several touchpoints in the organisation and works in close collaboration with the Regional General Manager, Customer Experience, Sales Marketing, HR, and E-Commerce.

You are expected to have a comprehensive understanding of running a store, especially taking responsibility for its profitability and team leadership. The goal is to drive business results through continuous development of the store team and lead the team to deliver the best Nudie Jeans customer experience.

Main Responsibilities, But Not Limited To

• Set an example for great store management and customer service by leading the way.
• Ensure repair shops live up to Nudie Jeans standards regarding customer service and brand experience.
• Responsible for the sales and KPI performance of the store.
• Partner with the Regional General Manager to maximise sales, profit, and reach key targets.
• Staff responsibilities including: creating a dynamic work environment, maximising team spirit, motivating and coaching staff members, recruitment, labor law, and performance management.
• Ensure store presentation and visual merchandising standards are maintained according to company guidelines.
• Administrative work.
• Maintenance of stock.
• Responsible for the work environment, both physical and psychological.

Who You Are

• You bring at least 3 years of Store Manager experience, preferably for a high-end retail brand.
• Result-oriented and driven by providing excellent customer service.
• You have great leadership skills including providing clear direction, coaching, and motivating others.
• Dynamic, high achiever with a track record of exceeding expectations.
• Experience in training people in sales and service.
• Non-prestigious and have a “can-do attitude”.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Good at time management, prioritising, creating time plans, and setting deadlines for self and others.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Good software systems knowledge. We tend to favour Microsoft Office, Asana, and Sitoo POS programs.
• Excellent verbal communication skills in English.
• Passionate about Nudie Jeans philosophy and our products.

Salary

The salary for this position is negotiable depending on experience within the fashion retail industry.
