Introduction to Powder24
Powder24 is the platform behind a portfolio of specialist travel brands, including NUCO Travel, WhiteRoad, Wasteland Ski and Erna Low. We provide the infrastructure, expertise and operational support that allows each brand to focus on what makes it distinct, while giving our people access to the scale, career opportunities and community of a wider group.
Every year, we help thousands of customers experience the mountains, whether that is a university snowsports club heading out on a rep-led resort week or a family booking a bespoke ski holiday. It is a fast-paced, close-knit business built by people who genuinely love what they do, and we are growing quickly.
Introduction to the Role
Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager, you will coordinate ski lessons, equipment hire and clothing rental across all Powder24 brands, along with other operational tasks such as special accommodation requests, catering bookings and stock control within our booking platforms. Your work makes sure every group's trip runs smoothly, from booking through to their week in resort.
It is a varied, hands-on role. The Senior Operations Manager sets what we offer and which suppliers we work with; you ensure it is delivered smoothly, working with ski schools and hire shops across the Alps and teams across the business. It is a great first or second step in travel operations, with clear room to grow.
In season, you will join the Transfer Delivery Team as a French speaker for up to 10 days PA at weekends, normally Saturdays, and work in resort as Resort Manager for up to two weeks, with dates agreed in advance. Days worked outside your normal pattern are given back as days in lieu.
Key Responsibilities
- Lessons and equipment hire. Coordinate ski and snowboard lesson bookings, equipment hire and clothing rental for our groups.
- Supplier relationships. Be the day-to-day contact for ski schools and hire shops across the Alps, sharing our requirements each week and keeping logistics on track.
- Booking systems. Load and maintain products, such as lessons, hire and catering, in our booking systems, manage new bookings and update availability.
- Pre-departure planning. Prepare instructor requests, meeting points and hire lists for each departure, working with the Senior Operations Manager on what runs and where.
- Related products. Handle special accommodation requests, catering bookings, and support rep equipment hire, third‑party hire requests, adventure activities and clothing orders.
- Improving how we work. Keep process guides current, suggest time‑saving fixes, and use AI and automation where it helps.
- Working across teams. Work closely with operations teams, customer experience, account management and resort teams so everyone has what they need.
