Job Title: Operations Assistant

Contract: Full-time

Location: Office-centric to our Cheadle Office in South Manchester

In-office policy: 3 – 5 days per week, depending on the time of year

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Salary: £24,500 – £27,500 depending on experience, plus up to 15% annual performance bonus

Reporting to: Resort Team & Delivery Manager

Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and organised Ops Assistant to support the delivery and management of our resort team (representatives). This role is essential to ensuring smooth operations across recruitment, staff communication, travel planning, and general staffing administration. This is a highly rewarding role with strong opportunities for progression within the company.

The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, tech-savvy, and able to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and respond to rep queries via email and WhatsApp.
  • Assist with recruitment, including reading applications, scheduling and conducting interviews, and supporting recruitment marketing efforts.
  • Support staff engagement and culture initiatives, including drafting team updates and coordinating rep communications.
  • Assist with travel planning and booking for our rep teams.
  • Coordinate and distribute key information to representatives.
  • Distribute weekly rep feedback and ensure admin tasks are processed promptly.
  • Track, manage, and dispatch staff uniforms.
  • Keep our back-end systems up to date with the relevant data.
  • Assist with delivery, logistics, and planning for our annual 3-day Rep Training Weekend.
  • Support with rep allocations and ensure efficient cover for any last-minute staffing changes.
  • Join the delivery team as a Resort Manager on our student ski weeks.

Skills & Attributes

Essential

  • Highly organised with great attention to detail.
  • Ability to motivate others through digital communications.
  • Confident communicator in person and across email, phone, and WhatsApp.
  • Comfortable using Excel/Google Sheets and able to learn new tools quickly.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure during peak periods.
  • A team player who takes initiative and enjoys problem-solving.

Desirable

  • Previous experience in staffing or operations.
  • Familiarity with travel planning or logistics.
  • Experience in the snowports industry, preferably in student snowports.
  • French speaker.

Working hours

Your main contracted hours will be 37.5 hours per week, based in our South Manchester office. Working hours may vary depending on the company\’s requirements, such as working abroad as part of the delivery team.
