We are currently recruiting for an experienced Gas Service & Breakdown Engineer on behalf of one of our leading Social Housing clients covering the SE & SW postcode areas. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established contractor offering long-term, stable work, a local patch and excellent earning potential through overtime and call out.

The Role:

  • Service, maintenance and breakdown of domestic gas appliances
  • Working within occupied social housing properties
  • Covering the N & EN postcode areas
  • 10–12 jobs per day via PDA
  • Monday to Friday role
  • Participation in a 1 in 4 call out rota
  • Delivering high levels of customer service and first-time fix rates

Salary & Package:

  • Up to £42,000 basic salary (depending on experience & qualifications)
  • Overtime available
  • Company van & fuel card supplied
  • 20 days holiday + bank holidays
  • Stable PAYE employment
  • Ongoing, long-term work
  • Supportive management team

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience
  • Proven experience within social housing
  • Full ACS qualifications including:
    • CCN1
    • CENWAT
    • CKR1
    • HTR1
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic experience
