Location: Bromley Rate: £200–£230 per day Job Type: Contract (Ongoing) Start: Immediate
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Security Engineer to join a growing team working on government buildings across the Bromley area.
This is an ongoing contract offering competitive day rates for the right candidate.
The Role
You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, servicing, fault finding, and repair of a range of electronic security systems within government properties.
The role requires a high standard of workmanship, reliability, and the ability to work independently.
Duties Include
- Installation, servicing, and maintenance of door entry systems.
- CCTV installation, commissioning, and fault finding.
- Installation and servicing of intruder alarm systems.
- Diagnosing and rectifying faults across multiple security systems.
- Completing planned and reactive maintenance works.
- Accurately completing job reports and relevant documentation.
- Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in accordance with industry standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Security Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of CCTV, door entry, and intruder alarm systems.
- ECS/CSCS card preferred.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Own van and tools are essential.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
- Excellent fault-finding and communication skills.
Package
