We are currently seeking an experienced Electrician to join a busy planned maintenance programme within social housing properties across Reading (RG2) and surrounding areas within a 6-mile radius. The successful candidate will be carrying out electrical works associated with kitchen and bathroom refurbishment projects in occupied residential properties.
Key Responsibilities
- Electrical installations as part of kitchen and bathroom renewals
- Testing and inspection of completed works
- Fault finding and remedial works where required
- Ensuring all work is completed to current regulations and company standards
- Working professionally within occupied social housing properties
- Completing relevant certification and paperwork
Essential Requirements
- ECS Gold Card (Essential)
- City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing Qualification (Essential)
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Previous experience working within social housing planned works
- Strong customer service and communication skills
Desirable
- Experience working on kitchen and bathroom refurbishment programmes
- Experience working in occupied properties
