We are currently recruiting for a Planner / Scheduler / Administrator to join one of our leading social housing contractors! This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised and proactive administrator who enjoys working in a busy environment and has experience coordinating engineers, appointments, or maintenance works.

The Role

As a Planner / Scheduler, you will be responsible for coordinating day-to-day workloads, ensuring jobs are scheduled efficiently and customers and engineers are kept informed. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and scheduling engineers' daily workloads
  • Booking and coordinating appointments with residents and customers
  • Managing diaries and ensuring workloads are distributed efficiently
  • Liaising with engineers, residents, clients and internal teams
  • Monitoring outstanding and completed jobs
  • Updating systems and maintaining accurate records
  • Rescheduling appointments where required
  • Handling queries and resolving scheduling issues
  • Ensuring jobs are completed within required timescales and KPIs
  • Providing general administrative support to the wider team

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in a social housing planning, scheduling, coordination or administration role
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Good attention to detail
  • The ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Good IT and computer skills
  • A proactive approach and the ability to use your own initiative
  • Experience within housing, repairs, maintenance or a similar environment would be advantageous
