Role: We are currently recruiting for an experienced Service & Repair Gas Engineer to join a well-established Social Housing contractor delivering high-quality heating services across domestic properties.

This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused engineer with strong fault-finding skills who enjoys working independently while delivering a high standard of service.

You'll be responsible for ensuring heating and hot water systems are operating safely, efficiently and reliably, carrying out servicing, repairs and planned maintenance across your designated area.

Key

Responsibilities

  • Carry out servicing, repairs and planned maintenance on domestic gas appliances and heating systems.
  • Diagnose and repair faults to restore heating and hot water efficiently.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with current Gas Safe regulations and industry standards.
  • Deliver excellent customer service when working within occupied properties.
  • Accurately complete all job sheets, reports and certification using both electronic and manual systems.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams, providing updates on completed works and outstanding repairs.
  • Manage your workload effectively while maintaining high standards of workmanship and compliance. Requirements:
  • Current ACS qualifications including CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1 and CKR1 (essential).
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Previous experience servicing and repairing domestic gas heating systems.
  • Previous social housing experience
  • Clean DBS
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
  • Good understanding of current gas safety legislation and industry standards.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a busy workload.
