An award winning Social Housing Contractor currently requires a domestic ACS Gas Engineer to work on a large social housing contract covering Epping Forest. This exciting opportunity will be based in Loughton, Essex. You will join on a full-time basis in return for a salary between £38,000 - £40,000 per annum. Salary will reflect your skills and knowledge.
You will also receive other benefits including:

Your role and responsibilities:
- To undertake all aspects of gas servicing, repairs and installations
- Excellent understanding of gas installations, servicing and diagnostic skills across a range of boiler manufacturers and systems
- Carry out works safely in line with current gas regulations
- Order and collect material
- Experience in social housing
- Excellent communication skills
- Maintain impress van stock of materials including recording usage on handheld device
- Using the handheld device accurately to complete LGSR’s and record required information on job orders
- Achieve relevant productivity and performance targets set on an annual basis
- Take part in the Out of Hours rota
- Ensure our customer service and delivery is excellent and continually improves.
Qualifications and experience:
- Current relevant ACS qualifications
- 5 years’ experience in the gas industry to acquire the skills and techniques of your specialised trade
- Working knowledge of relevant Health and Safety Legislation
- Full driving licence as a work van will be provided
- Demonstrate a good understanding of safeguarding issues commensurate with the role
- A satisfactory DBS check is required as part of this role
- Working with customers to deliver a high-quality maintenance service
- Experience of fast paced maintenance and repair environment
