Nuco Solutions are currently working with a Leading Social Housing contractor, looking for an experienced domestic Service and Breakdown engineer to join their team in Sheffield.
Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:
- Service and repair domestic gas appliances and boilers
- Perform routine maintenance checks to ensure optimal operation
- Maintain and monitor the supply, stock, and use of materials
- Participate in an out of hours call out rota (every 1 in 6 weeks)
- Act as a liaison between residents and internal teams to promptly resolve any property-related issues
- Report any non-compliance or process failures to management
Knowledge, skills and experience required for this role:
- Previous experience as a gas engineer (minimum of 5 years)
- Excellent customer service skills
- Essential qualifications: CCN1, CKR1, HTR1 and CENWAT
- Experience in social housing (minimum of 3 years)
