Salary: £33,000 – £35,000 per annum Contract: Permanent Benefits: Company Van + Fuel Card Location: south london We are looking for an Electrician’s Mate / Electrical Improver to join our team on a permanent basis. The role will involve carrying out PAT testing and basic electrical testing, while gaining further experience and training within the electrical industry. This is a great opportunity for someone with a basic electrical background who wants to develop their skills, gain practical experience and progress towards becoming a fully qualified electrician. Key Responsibilities * Carry out PAT testing across residential and commercial properties. * Assist with electrical testing and inspection under the guidance of qualified electricians. * Carry out basic electrical checks and identify potential faults. * Assist with electrical remedial works where required. * Support qualified electricians with day-to-day electrical maintenance. * Assist with installation and maintenance of sockets, switches, lighting and other electrical accessories. * Help with cable pulling, containment and general electrical works. * Complete testing records, job sheets and documentation accurately. * Work within occupied and void properties while maintaining a professional and tidy approach. * Follow all health and safety procedures and electrical safe working practices.
