Nuco Solutions are recruiting for an experienced Electrical Supervisor on behalf of a leading social housing contractor operating across London and the South East. This is a permanent role offering a mix of field-based and office-based responsibilities, overseeing electrical operations, supporting engineers in the field, and ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance.
Role and Responsibilities
- Managing and supporting a team of Electricians across planned and reactive maintenance contracts within the social housing sector.
- Supervising and supporting a team of Electricians.
- Carrying out site visits and quality inspections.
- Specifying and pricing electrical works.
- Reviewing and checking electrical certification.
- Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company procedures.
- Conducting health and safety inspections and audits.
- Providing technical support and guidance to Electricians.
- Monitoring performance and productivity across the contract.
- Liaising with clients, tenants, and internal teams.
- Ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- AM2 Qualification.
- ECS Gold Card.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Previous supervisory experience within social housing.
- Strong knowledge of electrical testing, inspection, and compliance requirements.
Desirable
- 2391 Inspection & Testing Qualification.
- SSSTS or SMSTS.
- Experience managing direct labour teams.
