We are looking for an experienced Electrical Qualifying Supervisor (QS) to join our growing electrical compliance team. This is a senior position requiring a strong technical background in inspection, testing, EICRs, remedial works, and electrical compliance, with responsibility for ensuring all electrical works are completed to the highest standards and in accordance with BS 7671 and relevant certification body requirements. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience within social housing, domestic, commercial, or compliance contracts and be confident managing engineers, auditing work, and signing off certification.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the company’s Qualifying Supervisor and technical lead.
- Review, verify, and approve EICRs, Electrical Installation Certificates (EICs), and Minor Electrical Installation Works Certificates (MEIWCs).
- Ensure all electrical works comply with BS 7671, Building Regulations, and certification body requirements.
- Provide technical support and guidance to electricians, testers, and supervisors.
- Carry out regular site audits, inspections, and quality assurance checks.
- Monitor engineer performance and provide mentoring and training where required.
- Review observation coding and remedial recommendations for technical accuracy.
- Support NICEIC/NAPIT assessments and maintain compliance documentation.
