We are currently seeking an experienced Solar PV Electrician to join our growing team on a permanent basis. This is a field-based role covering East Anglia and surrounding regions (IP, CO, CM, CB, PE), working on domestic and commercial renewable energy installations.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out all electrical works associated with Solar PV installations
- Install, wire, and commission inverters and battery storage systems
- Perform testing, inspection, and certification of completed systems
- Diagnose and rectify electrical faults
- Ensure all work complies with current regulations (BS 7671)
- Work closely with installation teams to ensure efficient project delivery
- Maintain high standards of health & safety on all sites
Requirements
- Fully qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
- Experience with Solar PV and/or battery storage systems (preferred)
- Testing & Inspection qualification (2391 or equivalent – desirable)
- ECS / CSCS Card
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
