We are currently seeking an experienced Solar PV Electrician to join our growing team on a permanent basis. This is a field-based role covering East Anglia and surrounding regions (IP, CO, CM, CB, PE), working on domestic and commercial renewable energy installations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out all electrical works associated with Solar PV installations
  • Install, wire, and commission inverters and battery storage systems
  • Perform testing, inspection, and certification of completed systems
  • Diagnose and rectify electrical faults
  • Ensure all work complies with current regulations (BS 7671)
  • Work closely with installation teams to ensure efficient project delivery
  • Maintain high standards of health & safety on all sites

Requirements

  • Fully qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
  • Experience with Solar PV and/or battery storage systems (preferred)
  • Testing & Inspection qualification (2391 or equivalent – desirable)
  • ECS / CSCS Card
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
