Nuco are currently recruiting for a Commercial Gas Engineer based in North London.
Daily Duties:
- Carry out reactive and planned works on a range of commercial gas appliances, heating systems, and other mechanical plant within boiler houses.
- Perform annual servicing, maintenance, inspection, and repair services to commercial boilers.
- Conduct small works, basic wet plumbing, installation, and refurbishment of building services and heating systems.
- Produce technical reports via PDA and complete gas servicing records as required.
- Diagnose faults and repair leaks on all systems.
- Collaborate with the electrical and BMS teams to resolve issues.
- Ensure gas safety checks are completed in accordance with legislation and standards.
- Attend relevant training to maintain professional competency and industry skills.
- Complete tasks raised by the planning team within SLA requirements and provide real-time updates via PDA.
- Work with the planning and procurement teams to ensure the correct parts are ordered and installed with minimal disruption to clients.
- Maintain good housekeeping on all jobs and ensure a positive company image through professionalism and excellent customer service.
Requirements:
- Gas Safe Registered.
- Possession of the following ACS qualifications: CoDNCO1, CIGA1, TPCP1A, CDGA1, CCN1.
- CENWAT and CKR1 qualifications.
- Water Regulations 1999 & Water Byelaws.
- Installation & Servicing of Domestic Unvented Hot Water Storage Systems.
- Desirable: ACS qualifications CORT1 and ICPN1.
