We are currently recruiting for an experienced Plumber Multi Trader to work on a social housing contract in Barnet. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offered through an agency, with the potential to secure a permanent position.
The role will involve carrying out a mix of plumbing and multi-trade works, with a strong focus on carpentry within occupied and void properties.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out plumbing repairs and maintenance in social housing properties
- Complete multi-trade works with a strong emphasis on carpentry
- Tasks may include: door hanging, lock changes, kitchen repairs, and basic joinery
- Diagnose faults and carry out first-time fix repairs where possible
- Work in both occupied and void properties
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within set timeframes
- Maintain excellent customer service when dealing with tenants
- Follow all health & safety procedures on-site
- Proven experience as a Plumber Multi Trader within social housing
- Strong carpentry/joinery skills (essential)
- Relevant plumbing qualifications (NVQ or equivalent preferred)
- Experience in reactive repairs and maintenance
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Own tools (preferred)
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- £24.00 per hour (CIS/Ltd or Umbrella)
- 42.5 hours per week
- Temp-to-perm opportunity
