Healthy Homes Surveyor (Damp & Mould)

We’re looking for an experienced Healthy Homes Surveyor with a strong background in damp & mould, condensation, structural defects and social housing repairs.

Main Duties

  • Carry out property inspections and diagnose damp, mould, condensation and building defects.
  • Identify root causes and recommend remedial works.
  • Produce survey reports, specifications and scopes of work.
  • Raise and manage repairs and works orders.
  • Monitor works through pre-inspection, work in progress and post-inspection stages.
  • Ensure works meet quality, compliance and health & safety standards.
  • Support with disrepair cases, complaints and housing condition investigations.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports and compliance data.

Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience in property surveying and damp & mould diagnostics.
  • Strong knowledge of HHSRS, housing legislation, Building Regulations and building pathology.
  • Experience working within social housing repairs and maintenance.
  • Good understanding of Schedule of Rates (SOR).
  • Strong IT, communication and organisational skills.
  • Able to work independently and manage your own workload.
