Job description
- Provide high-quality cleaning across communal areas of Independent Living schemes
- Complete scheduled and ad-hoc cleaning tasks to maintain excellent standards
- Operate and manage the on-site laundry service where applicable
- Carry out weekly water outlet flushing and assist with compliance tasks, including fire alarm testing
- Report maintenance issues, health & safety concerns and customer welfare matters
- Maintain cleaning supplies and support the upkeep of communal facilities and guest rooms
- Deliver excellent customer service and respond professionally to customer queries
- Work closely with colleagues to ensure a safe, clean and welcoming environment
Requirements
- Previous professional cleaning experience
- Laundry service experience desirable
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Able to work independently, prioritise tasks and adapt to changing workloads
- Knowledge of Health & Safety and COSHH regulations
- Basic record-keeping and IT skills
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites
- Flexible to work occasional evenings or weekends when required
