Key Responsibilities
- Supporting solicitors in managing high-value residential property transactions, including sales, purchases, and leasehold matters
- Conducting legal research, preparing reports, and assisting with due diligence
- Drafting contracts, lease agreements, and supporting documentation
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other professionals to facilitate smooth transactions
- Handling post-completion matters, including SDLT submissions and Land Registry applications
- Ensuring compliance with property laws and firm regulations
- Providing general administrative support to the residential property team
Requirements
- Previous experience as a residential property paralegal within a law firm
- Strong understanding of property law and transaction processes
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to manage client relationships professionally
- Proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Aspiration to secure a Training Contract, with a keen interest in residential property law
- LPC Highly Desirable (Not Essential)
