Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting solicitors in managing high-value residential property transactions, including sales, purchases, and leasehold matters
  • Conducting legal research, preparing reports, and assisting with due diligence
  • Drafting contracts, lease agreements, and supporting documentation
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other professionals to facilitate smooth transactions
  • Handling post-completion matters, including SDLT submissions and Land Registry applications
  • Ensuring compliance with property laws and firm regulations
  • Providing general administrative support to the residential property team

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a residential property paralegal within a law firm
  • Strong understanding of property law and transaction processes
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to manage client relationships professionally
  • Proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Aspiration to secure a Training Contract, with a keen interest in residential property law
  • LPC Highly Desirable (Not Essential)
