Dunstan Thomas delivers innovative software solutions to the Financial Services industry. We are seeking a talented individual to join the Imago Administration team as a Pension Systems Analyst and Subject Matter Expert. Imago Administration is a market‑leading pensions platform used across the SIPP and SSAS sectors and supported by an ambitious, forward‑looking product roadmap.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Developers, and Testers in an agile environment, contributing throughout the end‑to‑end development lifecycle. With the regulatory landscape continually evolving, we are looking for someone who is proactive, adaptable, and keen to help shape the future direction of our products while supporting our existing client solutions.

The role:

  • Act as a pensions subject matter expert, providing insight and guidance on complex issues.
  • Stay informed of relevant regulatory developments and ensure requirements are incorporated effectively.
  • Provide people leadership aligned to our values, supporting and developing team members.
  • Offer operational and technical pensions expertise to project teams (Business Analysts, Developers, Testers) to help define, deliver, and validate requirements.
  • Produce clear, comprehensive business requirements that reflect the needs of our diverse client base.
  • Deliver systems training to both external pension providers and internal teams.
  • Support business process mapping activities to ensure clarity and alignment across workflows.
  • Assist in issue investigation and resolution, including direct client support where required.
  • Maintain and enhance user guides, process documentation, and training materials, helping to build and strengthen a central knowledge repository.
  • Participate in system testing activities and contribute to the ongoing evolution of the product roadmap.
  • Engage with customers to understand needs and translate them into formal software change documentation.
  • Work with Product Owners and Project Managers to define and refine functional requirements.
  • Collaborate with development and testing teams to ensure that functional changes meet business objectives and leverage core product capabilities.

  • Minimum of 5 years' Defined Contribution pensions experience, ideally within a SIPP/SSAS environment.
  • Previous experience working within a change‑focused environment.

Location: Flexible working, with the ability to attend the Portsmouth office once per week.
