We’re looking for high calibre, enthusiastic and motivated aspiring writers to join Inizio Medical through our multi-award-winning training and development programme, allegro.WRITE. This is a comprehensive, year-long programme, designed to equip you for a role as a Medical Writer with Inizio Medical – a company including three of the world-leading medical communications agencies: ApotheCom, Ashfield MedComms and Nucleus Global.
Successful candidates join our business as an Associate Medical Writer, on a full-time contract. The programme comprises an initial, dedicated training phase, followed by team placements across the business to gain varied, real-life med comms experience. You will join energetic and passionate teams, building your confidence and ability by working alongside some of the most talented people in the industry. After 12 months, you will leave allegro.WRITE as a fully-fledged Medical Writer and become an integral part of an account team at one of our agencies, delivering contemporary, multichannel medical communications solutions to our clients!
What do I need?
To be considered for the role you must have a minimum of a 2:1 in a Life Sciences degree. No previous writing experience is necessary, but good written and verbal communication skills, an awareness of the pharmaceutical industry, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for knowledge are important! You must have a full right to work in the UK and be available for training across July and August.
What’s the recruitment process?

Suitable candidates will be asked to take a formal writing test. Those who demonstrate good core writing skills will be invited to an in-person Assessment Centre in Macclesfield. The Assessment Centre will comprise group activities, an onsite task and an interview, plus the chance for you to find out more about allegro.WRITE and talk to Medical Writers who have recently completed the programme. We will notify successful candidates within 72 hours of the Assessment Centre. The job commences in July 2025 and will run from our Manchester, Macclesfield, London and Glasgow offices.
