About the Role
As an Account Director within our Medical Affairs team, you will act as a strategic partner to pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients, leading the development and delivery of impactful Medical Affairs programmes across a range of therapy areas. Your responsibilities include:
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Providing strategic counsel
- Overseeing programmes that support scientific exchange, stakeholder engagement, medical education, advisory boards, congress activities, and broader Medical Affairs objectives
The role is ideal for an experienced client services professional with a strong Medical Affairs background who enjoys leading teams, developing client partnerships, and identifying opportunities for growth. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of scientific, engagement, creative, and digital specialists to deliver high-quality programmes and drive the growth of the Medical Affairs offering at Nucleus Global.
To Succeed You Will Have:
- A BSc in Life Sciences
- Previous experience working in a medical communications environment, particularly across global Medical Affairs
- A strong strategic and leadership background
- A proven track record of exceptional staff, project and client management experience
- Excellent project management skills and be comfortable leading on client‑facing projects on dynamic accounts while meeting client and group objectives
- Line‑management experience
- Experience supporting products across pre‑launch, launch, and lifecycle management
- Strong therapy area experience
- Excellent financial understanding with experience of budgeting and forecasting
- A flair for working well within a team with strong written and verbal communication skills
