About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Financial Reporting Accountant to join our Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and delivering accurate and timely regulatory reports in accordance with MiFID requirements. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a regulated financial services firm, supporting the business in meeting its prudential and conduct regulatory obligations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparation and delivery of accurate financial statements according to IFRS standards.
  • Quarterly MiFID and IPRU-INV reporting submissions for relevant entities.
  • Monitoring regulatory changes and assessing their impact on reporting processes.
  • Implementing improvements in financial reporting, automation, and systems.
  • Supporting audits related to regulatory reporting.
  • Collaborating with Risk, Compliance, and Capital teams for regulatory alignment.
  • Ensuring compliance with the company\'s values and conduct standards.

About you:

  • Experience in financial reporting and statutory accounts production.
  • Knowledge of MiFID and IPRU-INV reporting.
  • Proficiency in Excel and handling large data sets.
  • Understanding of UK regulatory landscape.
