Finance Reporting Manager – Platforms and SIPP

The Finance reporting manager will be responsible for overseeing financial and regulatory reporting for entities within the Platforms and SIPP group of companies. Ensuring timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, regulatory submissions and entity management accounting information. This role will play a key part in maintaining strong financial controls and driving process improvements.
Key accountabilities
- Preparation and delivery of accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards (IFRS).
- Production of Management accounting information to share with the Commercial finance teams
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of all regulatory returns to FCA and other relevant authorities.
- Ensure consistent implementation of accounting policies, procedures and controls for entities within the Platforms and SIPP space.
- Ensure compliance with all financial reporting obligations under relevant regulations and governance frameworks.
- Work closely with the regulatory reporting and capital teams to ensure accurate reporting of financial and capital-related disclosures.
- Identify and implement improvements in financial reporting processes, automation, and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Lead and develop a high-performing reporting team, providing mentorship and career development opportunities.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and excellence within the finance function.

- Maintenance of financial accounting and reporting control
- Ensuring reliable complete financial information is captured for all components of the Group
- Meeting internal and external audit standards, remediating shortfalls if and when they arise
KPIs and targets
- Achieving required timeliness, completeness and accuracy measures
- Liaison with internal/external stakeholders
- Developing recommendations and decision making/escalation with respect to accounting, reporting and financial control risk matters
- Ensuring timely submission of required Statutory, Fiscal and Regulatory filings
- Maintaining appropriate level of technical skills for self and team
- Take responsibility in everything you do to deliver good outcomes for our customers

- Ensure compliance with Code of Conduct at all times
About you
You will have,
- Extensive regulatory reporting experience including MIFID and IPRU-INV.
- Appropriate technical accounting and reporting qualifications gained in a professional services firm or in a series of relevant industry roles.
- Proven leadership skills acquired in roles building and developing specialist teams.
- Ability to communicate complex matters to a range of audiences.
- Knowledge of core finance systems and General Ledger systems and structures including reporting tools and applications.
- Ability to lead, motivate, inspire team to contribute fully to the wider leadership of the Finance Function and the wider Nucleus Group.
- Relevant qualifications: Chartered Accountant or Certified Accountant with continuous professional development record demonstrating learning ability and commitment to professional standards.
