A Business Analyst is a fundamental part of our Business Change team at Nucleus. The role is responsible for supporting the delivery of change to processes, people and systems across regulatory, mandatory and growth portfolios. This role helps provide the translation layer between the Business wants and needs and the successful outcome of a technical, business and/or process change.

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead on initial triage of new change requests raised by the business, assessing the expected benefits and impacted technology.
  • Support our Change Champions to articulate the rationale for each change and ensure they are supported through the process.
  • Apply a range of analysis techniques to elicit business requirements and feed into discussions on approaches and solutions.
  • Facilitate and lead in requirements workshops to gather an understanding of the key deliverables, using effective questioning to achieve a comprehensive interpretation of the ask.
  • Produce analysis outputs such as Business Requirements documents, Requirements Traceability and Business Readiness assessments.
  • Analyze ‘as-is’ and ‘to-be’ processes and create process maps to help visualize potential improvement opportunities.
  • Contribute to and approve wider change artefacts such as feasibility studies, Impact Assessments and Solution Designs.
  • Support Project Managers in the project lifecycle.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Seek opportunities for continuous improvement and self-development.
  • Be fully compliant with project governance, reporting and tracking and take responsibility to deliver good outcomes for our customers.
  • Positively demonstrate the Nucleus values and behaviours.
  • Undertake any other duties to achieve the purpose of the role.
