Nucleus is looking for a Quality Analyst to support Third Financial. The role is to support the products within a traditional software team.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with developers to ensure the product quality.
- Manual Testing – Conduct manual test suites against software products.
- Test Planning – Write own test plans documenting the purpose and approach of the testing to be carried out.
- Test Script Creation – Write own test cases and test scripts for regression suites and functional development suites.
- Conduct Static Testing – Conduct static testing in the form of spec reviews.
- Engage in requirement review and solution design meetings in order to offer QA understanding of usability and testability.
- Bug logging and Tracking – Taking ownership of the defects to ensure they are adequately resolved.
- Conduct Exploratory testing.
- Taking responsibility for the accountability of QA tasks and reporting on progress.
- Reviewing Playwright test cases for coverage and acceptance criteria.
- Work with web based testing tools for cross platform testing.
Key Attributes and Skills
- Good understanding of ALM (Application Lifecycle Management).
- Good understanding of Development Methodologies.
- Planning and own task management.
- Good written and spoken communication skills.
- Good attention to detail.
- User Interface knowledge to assess UI changes against confirmed standards.
- Problem Solving Skills.
- Experience with SQL and basic query language is a benefit but not a must.
- Experience with Playwright test automation tooling.
- Experience with Postman and API testing.
