Head of Tax in Edinburgh

Job Description The Head of Tax role sits within the Group Financial Control team, within the Finance Department. Responsible for overseeing and managing the Group’s tax planning, tax compliance and tax structuring requirements. This includes ensuring appropriate process and controls are in place with respect to Corporate Tax, VAT, Payroll taxes and any other direct or indirect tax exposures arising across the Group. The Head of Tax will lead on coordination of all regular reporting across all entities in the Group, with responsibility for managing group tax issues including corporate and group reliefs where applicable, intra-group relationships and transfer pricing, VAT compliance and reporting and planning for quarterly corporation tax payments as necessary.
