Our eProtein Discovery™ benchtop system accelerates protein expression and purification optimization in research labs.
We are seeking an experienced electro mechanical assembly technician to build the Nuclera eProtein DiscoveryTM instrument at our UK headquarters.
About the role
- Assemble, test, and troubleshoot electro-mechanical systems and components according to process instructions
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure assembled products meet technical and safety standards.
- Run tests and record data onto appropriate Nuclera systems
- Identify and report any design or production issues to engineering and management teams.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to test and validate prototypes.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area, adhering to 5S and lean manufacturing principles.
- Interact with the ERP system to ensure accurate build data.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards in the workplace.
- Support the kitting of reagent products, ensuring customer-facing products meet quality standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in electro-mechanical assembly or a related field.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management systems.
- Experience working in a lean manufacturing environment.
