We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure. This role will be within BGEN – one of the UK’s largest multidisciplinary design and build contractors with over 100 years of industry experience. We support clients in the water, power & energy, pharmaceutical, nuclear and food and beverage industries to deliver next generation, value‑added engineering solutions.
What will you be doing?
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role within our Finance Team, supporting the delivery of essential engineering and infrastructure services across a range of markets. Working closely with operational and commercial colleagues, you’ll help ensure the business continues to perform safely, efficiently and to the highest standards. Based in Warrington or Rochdale around two days per week, you’ll provide financial leadership and support across your areas, building strong relationships and acting as a trusted partner to SBU leadership teams. Reporting to the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis, you’ll support performance delivery, strengthen financial governance and help drive margin discipline and cash generation. From leading forecasts and budgets to providing clear commercial insight and identifying efficiencies, this role offers real variety and impact. You’ll also play a part in driving continuous improvement across Finance and the wider business, in a friendly, respectful and client‑focused environment where you’ll be encouraged to grow and thrive.
