The role
As a Finance Analyst, you’ll play a vital role within our Group Financial Planning and Analysis team, supporting cash insight processes that drive strategic decision-making across the business. You’ll help provide clear visibility of our liquidity position while monitoring performance against cash targets, enabling better financial planning across our global operations.
Day-to-day, you will be responsible for:
- Extracting and analysing financial data from multiple sources including ledgers, payroll, VAT returns and bank statements
- Developing and maintaining robust cash forecasting models to support accurate reporting
- Supporting monthly rolling forecast processes by delivering insightful data and analysis
- Investigating and explaining variances between forecasts and actual results
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and enhance financial reporting efficiency
This is a remote, full-time role, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with monthly travel to Bristol.
Essential Experience of the Finance Analyst
- Experience analysing and interpreting financial data to deliver clear insights
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including building and maintaining financial models
- Experience working with finance systems such as SAP, IFS or similar platforms
- Proven ability to identify issues and implement process improvements
Qualifications for the Finance Analyst
- A relevant finance, accounting or business-related qualification or working towards one (e.g. AAT, ACCA, CIMA) is desirable
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) / Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role. Many of the positions within our company are subject to national security clearance and Trade Control restrictions.
