The role

As a Vehicle Quality Inspector you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll ensure that every vehicle leaving our production line meets the highest standards of safety, performance, and customer satisfaction. This role is central to maintaining the quality and reliability our customers depend on—enabling the defence, aerospace and engineering sectors to operate with confidence. It’s a chance to grow your technical expertise while contributing to work that genuinely matters.

Day-to-day, you’ll be required to:

  • Inspect vehicles at multiple stages of production and at final build.
  • Record inspection findings accurately using build packs, check sheets and test reports.
  • Complete dispatch packs and ensure all quality documentation is up to date.
  • Deliver independent inspections to meet customer expectations.
  • Carry out duties in line with performance targets and customer deadlines.

You’ll work 39 hours per week, based onsite at Walsall, West Midlands. Set working times are Monday–Thursday 8:00–17:00 and Friday 8:00–12:00. Overtime opportunities are also available.

Qualifications for the Vehicle Quality Inspector

  • Full UK driving licence.

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) / NPPV security clearance for this role.
