On offer is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a highly respected SME engineering company that has recently got an influx of work meaning there is extensive overtime available and a variety of new state‑of‑the‑art, exciting machinery to use like brand new MAZAK VTC530C. This role would suit a CNC Turner, Miller, Operator or similar looking to progress and develop their career within a well‑established company that provides precision Engineering parts for some of the most demanding industries leaving them with a consistent flow of work.
In this role, the successful candidate will receive extensive in‑house and external training where they can develop their skills, learn new programmes and be trained on a variety of different machines, including new machinery that they have invested in over the last few years.
The Role:
- Programming, setting, and operating CNC Machinery
- Manufacturing precision components for Nuclear, Defence, Marine and Oil industries
- Internal and external training on a variety of different machines and programmes
- Working Monday to Thursday, 07:30 am ‑ 17:00 pm and 7:30 am‑12:30 pm on Fridays
- Overtime available paid at 1.3x
- Christmas Shutdown from the 24th till the 2nd of January
- A 3% Government pension scheme
The Person:
- CNC Background or similar
- Apprenticeship trained or 1+ years machining experience
