You’ll play a vital role in ensuring contamination‑controlled clothing and equipment are managed effectively, helping teams carry out their work safely while maintaining the highest standards of compliance. What will you be doing In this role, you’ll take ownership of the full lifecycle of site clothing used in controlled areas, from receiving and organising laundered items to distributing them across site and ensuring used clothing is safely collected and dispatched. You’ll work closely with multiple teams, coordinating daily requirements while managing your own schedule to ensure everything runs efficiently and without delay. You’ll also be responsible for maintaining stock levels, upholding high housekeeping standards, and supporting safe working practices throughout. Operating a site vehicle will form part of your day‑to‑day duties, and you may also have the opportunity to carry out basic radiological monitoring tasks, with full training provided. Managing the distribution, collection and dispatch of site clothing and related equipment Coordinating with work teams to plan daily activities and ensure timely delivery of resources Maintaining stock control and working with stores to ensure availability of essential items Ensuring all tasks are completed safely, including hazard identification and point‑of‑work risk assessments Who are we looking for You’re a dependable and self‑motivated individual who is comfortable working independently and takes pride in doing a job well. You understand the importance of safety, organisation and attention to detail, especially within an industrial or regulated environment. With a proactive approach, you’re able to manage your own workload, build strong working relationships across teams, and consistently deliver to high standards. You’ll bring relevant experience from an industrial setting and hold a full, clean driving licence, as driving on site is a key part of the role. While prior knowledge of radiological protection or nuclear safety would be beneficial, it’s not essential what matters most is your willingness to learn, your commitment to safe working practices, and your ability to adapt in a role that combines responsibility with independence.
