The role:
As an Office and Business Support Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our Rosyth operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly across our office environment and support functions. You’ll lead the coordination of workplace activities, act as a central point of contact for office operations and manage a small team delivering high-quality administrative support to senior leadership. This is a dynamic and visible role where your work directly improves how people collaborate, perform, and deliver outcomes that matter. Day-to-day, you’ll have the following responsibilities:
- Managing the day-to-day running of the office environment, ensuring spaces are safe, efficient and well maintained
- Leading and developing a team of Business Support Specialists, allocating work and driving high performance
- Coordinating closely with Facilities Management and Health and Safety teams to address workplace needs
- Supporting senior leaders with complex administration, including diaries, travel, meetings and communications
- Organising key events, visits and stakeholder engagements, including site tours and VIP access
This is a full-time role, 37 hours per week, based on site at Rosyth. Some flexibility is available.
Essential experience:
- Demonstrating proven experience in office, facilities, or workplace management
- Leading or supervising teams with a collaborative, people-focused approach
- Managing competing priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Building strong relationships and influencing stakeholders across a business
- Handling confidential information with discretion and professionalism
Qualifications:
- Relevant experience in office management, facilities management or business support (essential)
- Demonstrable leadership or team management experience (essential)
- Professional qualifications in facilities or health and safety (such as IOSH or NEBOSH) are desirable
Security Clearance:
The successful candidate must be a sole UK National who is able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
