The role:

As a Procurement Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in supporting the smooth and efficient purchasing of goods and services across the business. Working within our Requisition to Pay (R2P) Business Services Procurement team, you’ll help ensure that the right resources are in place to support critical operations across defence, aerospace and engineering programmes. This is an exciting opportunity to build your career within a global organisation, where your work will directly support projects that protect national security and deliver essential services. You’ll gain exposure to international procurement activity, develop your technical and system knowledge, and collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders.

Day-to-day, you’ll be:

  • Processing requisitions and purchase orders, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Managing open purchase orders and resolving queries related to goods received and invoice discrepancies
  • Procuring information technology hardware and peripherals for UK and international operations
  • Monitoring shared procurement inboxes and managing sourcing activity queues
  • Building and maintaining strong working relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders

This role is full time, 37.5 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with one day a month onsite and the rest of the month working from home.

Essential experience:

  • Experience working within a Requisition to Pay or procurement function
  • Confidence using Microsoft Excel, databases, and systems such as SAP, Coupa or Remedy
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and compliance
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) and Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
