The role
As a Finance Business Partner, you’ll be at the heart of a major programme, providing trusted financial insight that enables informed decision‑making and strong business performance. Working closely with operational teams, you’ll ensure financial data is accurate, timely, and aligned to programme delivery—helping to safeguard critical national infrastructure. Day‑to‑day, you’ll build relationships across project, operational, and stakeholder groups to drive value and ensure robust financial governance. - Supporting financial reporting and ensuring accuracy of accounting records across the programme
- Partnering with operational teams to provide insight and influence financial performance
- Maintaining strong financial governance, controls, and compliance with accounting standards
- Producing and presenting financial information to internal and external stakeholders
- Contributing to forecasting, budgeting, and decision‑making processes
This role is full time, 35 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with a minimum of days in the office/onsite.
Essential experience of the Finance Business Partner
- Demonstrated knowledge of financial systems and accounting practices, including IFRS 15
- Experience in financial reporting and maintaining accurate financial data
- Ability to work independently and manage competing deadlines effectively
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly
- Proven ability to build relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders
Qualifications for the Finance Business Partner
- AAT qualified - Essential
- Working towards a professional accounting qualification - Desirable

The successful candidate must be a sole UK National who is able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
