The role:

  • Design and deliver innovative multimedia and e-learning solutions that make complex information clear, accessible and engaging.
  • Work across a variety of projects to bring learning to life through graphic design, video, animation and interactive content.

This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your creative and technical skills while making a tangible impact in defence training and development.

Day-to-day, you’ll be required to:

  • Design and develop engaging e-learning packages and multimedia assets from concept through to final delivery.
  • Collaborate with training experts and stakeholders to understand learning objectives and translate them into creative solutions.
  • Present design concepts and explain creative decisions to ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Create high-quality visuals using industry-standard tools including Adobe Creative Suite and 3D modelling software.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining accurate records and meeting deadlines.

The role is based onsite at Lyneham, with set working times of Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm and Friday 8am to 1pm, totalling 37 hours per week with one day a week working from home.

Essential experience:

  • Proven experience in multimedia development or digital learning environments.
  • Using rapid e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline or Adobe Captivate.
  • Working confidently with Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Applying strong skills in Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Creating multimedia or 3D assets using tools such as Autodesk 3DS Max or Blender.

Qualifications:

  • Holding a relevant degree or equivalent qualification, or demonstrating equivalent experience in a digital learning or media environment.

Security Clearance:

The successful candidate must be a sole UK National who is able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
