Role Type: Full time / Permanent

Lead safe, compliant avionics maintenance in a regulated aviation environment. This is a senior, hands-on supervisory role where you'll lead avionics maintenance activity, ensure airworthiness standards are met, and provide technical leadership to a skilled team supporting operational flying.

The role involves:

  • Supervising avionics maintenance activity, ensuring work is completed safely, compliantly, and to plan.
  • Delegating and authorising tasks to maintain airworthiness and operational readiness.
  • Providing technical leadership, guidance, and support to avionics personnel.
  • Monitoring quality, safety, and risk, escalating issues and supporting investigations where required.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring compliance with approved technical information.

This is a full-time, permanent onsite role, working standard weekday hours.

Essential experience:

  • A confident avionics supervisor with strong technical credibility.
  • Proven ability to lead teams in a safety-critical, regulated environment.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to make sound technical decisions.
  • A proactive approach to quality, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of a recognised avionics or aeronautical engineering apprenticeship or equivalent technical qualification.
  • Authorisation to carry out and oversee vital or independent inspections is desirable.

Security Clearance: The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) security clearance for this role.
