The role:
- Partnering with senior leaders to understand business priorities, performance challenges and future skill requirements
- Designing clear learning and capability plans aligned to strategic and operational outcomes
- Creating practical, high-impact learning solutions that go beyond traditional training
- Embedding a strong learning culture focused on measurable performance and results
- Evaluating learning impact, managing budgets and ensuring governance, quality and compliance standards are met
This role is full time, 36 hours per week, Monday to Thursday, and is based at HMNB Clyde Faslane. Hybrid working arrangements are available, with occasional travel to our Rosyth site.
Essential experience:
- Proven experience as a senior Learning and Development professional operating in complex organisations
- Strong track record of partnering with leaders to deliver capability and performance solutions
- Experience using data and insight to diagnose needs and demonstrate learning impact
- Ability to translate business goals into effective, practical development approaches
- Line management experience is advantageous
Qualifications:
- Relevant experience within Learning and Development or Organisational Capability
- An appropriate HR or Learning qualification or professional chartership - desirable

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
