The role is about driving meaningful change at scale - partnering with senior leaders, influencing direction, and delivering people‑led transformation that supports national defence and security.
Day‑to‑day you’ll be required to:
- Leading and delivering HR transformation and change projects aligned to business strategy
- Partnering with senior leaders and managers to build organisational capability and readiness for change
- Designing and implementing people frameworks including career pathways, reward and organisational design
- Managing project plans, milestones and dependencies across multiple workstreams
- Using insight, data and clear communication to influence decisions and support successful change adoption
This role is full time, 36 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 07:15 – 16:45 and is based at HMNB Clyde Faslane. Due to the nature of the role, regular on‑site presence is required, with hybrid working arrangements available where business needs allow.
Essential experience:
- Proven experience operating as an HR Business Partner with senior leaders
- Strong track record delivering organisational change or transformation projects
- Experience managing complex HR initiatives aligned to strategic objectives
- Solid background in employee relations, including trade union engagement
- Ability to analyse data and provide meaningful insight to inform decisions
Qualifications:
- CIPD qualification or equivalent demonstrable HR experience
- Strong professional knowledge of contemporary HR practice
- Proficiency in HR systems and tools, including Microsoft Office applications
Security Clearance: The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
