The role:
- Provide engineering support to resolve technical and resourcing issues during project delivery.
- Lead and coordinate installation activities, ensuring all pre‑installation requirements are in place.
- Monitor progress, track costs and hours, and report on project performance.
- Conduct quality inspections and ensure compliance with safety and contractor control policies.
- Drive continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and implementing best practices.
This role is full time, 36 hours per week Monday to Thursday and is based on site at HMNB Clyde Faslane.
Essential experience:
- Experience in a highly regulated environment such as mechanical, marine, or nuclear engineering.
- Familiarity with maintenance planning and project delivery processes.
- Knowledge of ship systems maintenance and installation procedures.
Qualifications:
- Ideally, you’ll hold an HNC or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline, but equivalent experience is just as valuable.

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role. Many of the positions within our company are subject to national security clearance and Trade Control restrictions.
