Role Type: Full time / Permanent / Monday to Friday (early finish on a Friday)

The role:

  • Operate material handling equipment across multiple equipment variants
  • Support inspections, certification activity, and engineering assurance requirements
  • Carry out repairs using hand tools, powered tools, and bench mounted equipment
  • Ensure full asset accountability while maintaining strict health and safety standards

Please note that this position involves manual work. This could include lifting, bending, using tools or standing for extended periods of time. The role is based onsite at Ashchurch, and the set working times are Monday to Friday, totalling 37 hours per week.

Essential experience:

  • Experience operating material handling or manual handling equipment
  • Experience working in practical, hands‑on environments
  • Confidence working independently and taking ownership of tasks
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Strong awareness of health and safety responsibilities

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
