The role involves taking ownership of the successful delivery of manufacturing and installation projects across a varied and exciting portfolio. You’ll lead a skilled team and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you combine strategic oversight with practical involvement, driving operational excellence while contributing directly to build and installation activities.

Day‑to‑day responsibilities:

  • Provide a structured approach to the delivery function, ensuring the team is suitably trained and holds the relevant qualifications to carry out tasks across UK sites and abroad.
  • Plan and manage operations, lead a team of Installation Technicians across multiple locations, and adopt a proactive approach to problem solving while supporting hands‑on tasks when required.
  • Carry out a mixture of management activities and hands‑on work to support build and installation projects as needed.

Essential experience:

  • Facility/operations management experience.
  • Experience reading and understanding electrical and mechanical drawings.
  • Proven ability to lead a team by setting a good example and ensuring processes are followed.
  • Experience creating and implementing processes and driving continual improvement activities.
  • Good understanding of project management systems and processes, and adequate knowledge of and compliance with Health and Safety policy and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum HNC/HND in engineering or demonstrable experience in relevant roles.
  • IOSH Managing Safely certification would be advantageous.

Security Clearance:

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Developed Vetting (DV) security clearance for this role and must be a sole UK citizen. Many positions within the company are subject to national security clearance and trade control restrictions.
