The role:
- Lead the design and development of training programmes and materials in line with defence standards.
- Manage projects from initial requirements through to final delivery and implementation.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to ensure training meets operational needs.
- Develop innovative learning solutions using a variety of media and technologies.
- Ensure compliance with Ministry of Defence regulations and internal quality standards.
This role is full time, 37 hours per week, and offers flexible working arrangements with a mix of onsite and home-based days, depending on business needs, which may vary from week to week. Travel to our sites at Minley and Bicester may also be required as part of the role.
Essential experience:
- Experience in training design or instructional design, ideally within a defence or military environment.
- Demonstrate the ability to analyse and improve training programmes for effectiveness and efficiency.
- Create engaging learning solutions using a range of digital tools and technologies.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships and communicate effectively at all levels.
- Show willingness to undertake further training and professional development, including occasional offsite training.

Security Clearance:
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role. Many of the positions within our company are subject to national security clearance and Trade Control restrictions.
