We’re seeking an Electrical Nuclear Safety Engineer to join our diverse team and play a role in expanding and growing our support to existing and new nuclear projects.
We support clients in all parts of the UK civil and defence nuclear industry, as well as a wide range of non-reactor, and experimental or demonstrator facilities. We provide technical support to our clients on engineering projects for the design, construction, operation, maintenance, defuelling, and decommissioning of their nuclear facilities.
As an electrical nuclear safety professional, you will be expected to plan and undertake project work for clients on, or in support of, significant nuclear safety and assurance tasks, and supervise other staff in doing such work. You’ll apply your experience and knowledge in the nuclear industry to assess and justify electrical engineering problems and produce related safety justifications. You’ll also oversee and manage projects, develop and hold client relationships, and win new work; as well as supporting and coaching junior colleagues’ development.
This is an opportunity for candidates with relevant experience, who are able to handle changing priorities and able to perform the following kind of roles:
- Develop and execute strategies to solve complex electrical power system and C leadership; and independent review.
- Experience in project management and commercial aspects.
- Technical consultancy experience.
- Chartered with a professional institution.
Due to the nature of the work that Frazer-Nash Consultancy undertake, candidates will be required to undergo pre-employment screening and must be able to satisfy clearance criteria for UK National Security Vetting.
